LEGAL HOLIDAYS IN 2018

We are hereby sending you a summary of the legal holidays in 2018, in accordance with the provisions of the Labour Code.

Thus, aside from January 1st and 2nd, which have already passed, the legal holidays in 2018 are the following:

• The Celebration of the Union of the Romanian Principalities, namely Wednesday, January 24;
• The first two Easter days, namely Sunday, April 8 and Monday, April 9;
• The International Labour Day, which is on Tuesday, May 1;
• The first two Pentecost days, namely Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28;
• Children’s Day, which is celebrated on Friday, June 1;
• Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Wednesday, August 15;
• Saint Andrew: Friday, November 30;
• The National Day of Romania: Saturday, December 1;
• The first two Christmas days, namely Tuesday, December 25, and Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
