LEGAL HOLIDAYS IN 2021 IN ROMANIA

The legal holidays in 2021 are the following:

The first two days of the Year 2021, namely Friday the 1st of January and Saturday the 2nd of January;

The celebration of the Union of the Romanian Principalities, namely Sunday the 24th of January;

The Orthodox Easter Holy Friday, namely Friday the 30th of April 2020;

The first two Orthodox Easter days, namely Sunday, the 2nd of May and Monday, the 3rd of May;

The International Labour Day, which is on Saturday, the 1st of May;

Children’s Day, which is celebrated on Tuesday, the 1st of June;

The first two Pentecost days, namely Sunday, the 20th of June, and Monday, the 21th of June;

The Feast of the Assumption: Sunday, the 15th of August;

Saint Andrew: Tuesday, the 30th of November;

The National Day of Romania: Wednesday, the 1st of December;

The first two Christmas days, namely Saturday, the 25th of December, and Sunday, the 26th of December.
