Mrs. Dana Gruia Dufaut was invited to take part, as a speaker, to the « Engaging Leaders » lunch-debate, organized by CCIFER, part of the series of events dedicated to women’s leadership and leaders.

The speakers of this event – women with remarkable careers, holding management positions in large companies in Romania or women who created their own successful business – shared their experience and tried to provide an answer to the central question of this debate: “Where do women draw their power from?”

On this occasion, Mrs. Dana Gruia Dufaut stressed that, in order to build a successful career, education and the freedom to choose one’s profession are of the utmost importance. Courage, obstinacy and the intelligence of seizing opportunities are several key-features that make the difference between a leader and the rest, underlined Mrs. Dufaut while evoking her first experiences as a business lawyer in Romania.

Other topics discussed during the debate moderated by Mrs. Oana Marinescu, expert in strategic communication, managing director of OMA Vision, focused on the features of women’s leadership, the obstacles to the advancement of women in companies, the motivation behind women’s business initiatives.

The other speakers invited to share their experience were Sorana Baciu - Acgenio Managing Partner, Cristina Bazavan - Journalist, Cristiana Boca - General Manager of the “Step by Step” School, Oana Toiu - Bucharest Hub, Global Shapers Community Curator, Beatrix Derveloy - Director of Arta Grafica SA and Imprimeria Arta Grafica and Ioana Marcu - Orange HR Manager.
