BUCHAREST, 6 December 2018 – Cristina BOJICA, Partner Gruia Dufaut Law Office and Mihaela NITU, Senior Associate, has earned the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Cristina BOJICA and Mihaela NITU perform legal audits and offer assistance on how the personal data operator must action in order to comply with the obligations in the field of data protection.

Cristina BOJICA has more than 17 years of experience in the legal profession and she represents and advises a wide range of clients in various legal areas. She is also the coordinator of the Litigations Department of the GRUIA DUFAUT Law Office; her extensive knowledge of the local legal system allows her to successfully represent the Law Office’s clients before all courts, including the High Court of Cassation and Justice. Ms BOJICA has also an extensive experience in company and real estate acquisitions, particularly in drafting legal analysis reports, negotiating and drafting all types of transactional documents.

Mihaela NITU has extensive experience in labour law, social security and social protection issues. She operates on two levels: firstly, in issues concerning the individual relations between employers and employees (individual dismissals, labour agreements, disciplinary procedures, legislation on working hours, negotiations, relations with the labour agency, issues encountered by the business managers and by the managing personnel); secondly, she provides legal assistance for the collective bargaining procedure, the execution and modification of collective agreements. Her expertise also includes social due diligence for companies and counselling during company reorganization procedures (mergers, spin-off, partial transfer of assets). Mr NITU provides assistance also in administrative procedures in labour and social law, as well as the protection of personal data.
