We are honored to announce that Gruia Dufaut & Asociaศii has received the Excellence Award at the ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฅ & ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒย โ 5th Edition conference, organized by Universul Juridic.
On the same occasion, our partner, Cristina BOJICA, delivered the presentation: ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ: ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐, highlighting the legal and operational implications of Regulation (EU) 2025/327 โ the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
๐๐๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฅ๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐จ๐จ๐๐:
- The purpose of the Regulation and its benefits for the development of research activities
- The core principle โ FAIR: data that that is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable, with the EU target of universal access to the electronic health record by 2030
- Secondary use of data and the priority categories of electronic personal data covered by the Regulation
- Key distinctions between a health data access application and a health data request
- Governance, not open access: authorized access, anonymized/pseudonymized data, traceability, and audit
- From consent to control: Member States should no longer be able to maintain or introduce the consent of individuals with regard to processing for the secondary use of electronic personal health data; instead, individuals will benefit from a simple, reversible, and exercisable-at-any-time right to opt out
- Operational compliance: internal roles, access procedures, retention policies, and publication of results only in anonymous form, within 18 months
Many thanks to Universul Juridic for the recognition and for providing a platform for dialogue on the future of health data protection.
